The Fruit comes in two variants, one that lets you transform into an Eastern Dragon that resembles those seen in Asian culture, and another that lets you turn into a Western Dragon, which is based on dragons from European medieval fantasy. The two variants have different playstyles, designs and animations, but one thing they both share in common is they're extremely rare.

How to get the Dragon Fruit
The easiest way to get the Dragon Fruit is to buy it from the Blox Fruits Dealer NPC for 15,000,000 Beli. The Fruit won't always be in stock though, and if you go to purchase it and it's sold out, you'll have to wait for a restock.
If you do manage to purchase the Dragon Fruit from the Blox Fruits Dealer, just bear in mind that it's not permanent. As soon as you purchase another Fruit with Beli, it will get replaced. You can, alternatively, buy the Dragon Fruit from the in-game 'Shop' with Robux, and that will make it a permanent purchase. You can access this store anywhere on the map by pressing 'Menu' and then 'Shop', but it will cost you a small fortune. When purchasing it with Robux, the Dragon Fruit will cost you an eye-watering 5,000 Robux.
Thankfully, there are a few other ways you can get hold of this elusive Fruit. You can try to spin for the Dragon Fruit by interacting with the Blox Fruits Gacha NPC, but similar to the Kitsune Fruit, the odds of rolling it are low.
You can also try to get a Dragon Fruit by interacting with Dragon Eggs on the Prehistoric Island. The odds of spawning a Dragon Fruit this way are low, but it's currently the best way to get the Fruit for free without spending Beli or Robux.
Dragon Fruit abilities
When you first get the Dragon Fruit, you'll be able to choose if you want the Eastern or Western style. Besides the obvious differences in design, the playstyles are slightly different. The Western Dragon has larger hitboxes, which make it more suited to PvP, while the Eastern Dragon is more suited to PvE, and some of its moves work in slightly different ways which make it better for this playstyle.
Whichever style you choose, once you start using the Dragon Fruit, there are a few steps you need to go through before you can turn into your dragon of choice. When you have the Dragon Fruit equipped, you'll see a Fury meter appear that, at first, slowly builds up over time. Once full, your character can turn into a dragon-human hybrid, and the meter will reset. You then have to fill the Fury meter up all over again, this time by dealing damage. Once it's full, you'll be able to transform into a Dragon and take advantage of the Fruit's awesome power.
