Wondering how to get Honey in Grow A Garden? Introduced via the Bizzy Bee update, Honey is a valuable resource in Grow A Garden that can yield great rewards. That said, before you can make Honey, you'll need to pollinate your crops and then sell these goods to the Honey-making machine located in the centre of the Grow A Garden land plot.
In this guide, we'll explain how to get Honey in Grow A Garden. We'll also present a list of the best crops to focus on during the Honey-making process.
How to get Honey in Grow A Garden
In order to acquire Honey, you first need to ensure that your crops are pollinated. We have an entire guide on how to get the Pollinated mutation, but in brief, you need to play the game during a Swarm event. These events occur every hour on the hour, and see the Queen Bee sending out smaller Bees who flock to your garden, blessing random crops with the Pollinated status. To see how long it'll be until the next Swarm event commences, walk over to the Queen Bee and check the timer on the hive next to her.
Once you've got Pollinated crops, visit the Honey Combpressor stall next to the Queen Bee and give the fellow in charge 10 kg of Pollinated fruits for 10 jars of Honey. You must then wait three minutes for the Honey to be created. Once the waiting is over, you can finally take your sweet nectar.
How to use Honey
Honey is used for trading with the Queen Bee, who offers up a wide variety of useful goods, including a Honey Sprinkler (30 Honey or 100 Robux), which applies the Honey Glazed mutation to all produce within its radius when you place it in your garden. The Honey Glazed mutation adds a 5x multiplier to the harvest price of these crops, so it's certainly a nice investment!

My other favourite is the Bee Egg, which costs 18 Honey or 129 Robux. The Bee Egg lets you potentially hatch your very own Bee pet who can directly bless random crops in your garden with the Pollinated status, saving you from having to wait for a Swarm event. In other words, you need Honey to make more Honey.
Heaviest crops for making Honey
Since the weight of a crop matters when it comes to getting Honey, it pays to grow heavy yields in your garden. I have the most success growing the following crops, which I've listed below with their average weights and Seed Shop prices:
Crop Name | Average Weight | Seed Shop Price |
---|---|---|
Mushroom | 18 kg | 150,000 Sheckles, 249 Robux |
Mango | 15 kg | 100,000 Sheckles, 580 Robux |
Coconut | 16 kg | 6,000 Sheckles, 435 Robux |
Pumpkin | 8 kg | 3,000 Sheckles, 210 Robux |
Watermelon | 7 kg | 2,500 Sheckles, 95 Robux |
Bamboo | 4 kg | 4,000 Sheckles, 99 Robux |
If you've got the spare cash, you can invest in fancier crops like the Moon Mango, which some players have reported growing to truly immense sizes, including 70 kg. Unfortunately, the Moon Mango costs a whopping 1,000,000,000 Sheckles or 999 Robux, meaning that you might need to declare bankruptcy afterwards.
