Last updated: July 23rd, 2026 - Added new Anomalies!
The latest spooky receptionist simulator to hit Roblox, Home Alone is that familiar mix of No, I'm Not A Human and I'm On Observation Duty that has become a staple on Roblox in the last year. Your very busy Mum has decided she's heading out for the evening, and you're tasked with battling the Anomalies that visit the house in her absence. Anomalies are fake versions of your neighbours you can only identify through uncanny differences or details, and they will gnaw on your bones if you give them the opportunity to strike.
If you need a little help knowing what's real and what's a demonic scourge on your home, we've listed all Home Alone Anomalies below, along with the ways to identify them.

Below, we've listed every single Anomaly in Home Alone. Feel free to use the links below to jump down to whichever Anomaly you’re struggling to identify.
How do Anomalies work in Home Alone? An extra tip from Callum
If you're just starting out, the basic crux of Home Alone is simple. We'll need to raise a whopping $180 by completing jobs around the house and answering the door to random people skulking around the neighbourhood. However, a lot of these "people" aren't people, they're Anomalies in disguise.
Just a small sample of the kinds of "oddities" you're hunting for. | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun / 3 AM Productions / Freeground
Letting in an Anomaly will lower your Sanity meter, and if it hits 0, it's game over. If you think the visitor is an Anomaly, you'll need to turn the porch light off via the switch to the right of the front door. If you think they're authentic, open the door and continue your interaction. As for how to identify them, you'll need to verify details of their stories, listen to their voices, and use the cameras on the laptop in the front room to check for weird oddities.
From my experimentation, it seems as though every visitor that arrives at your crib has both an Anomalous form and a real form, meaning you're going to have to investigate each and every single one to find certain clues that prove they're truly who they say they are.

Police Man
Appearance
Tall man in a police uniform.
Request
Come inside the house to check for a roaming criminal.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
If you see a police car parked up in front of the house, then the police man is authentic. If there's a beat-up van instead, you're dealing with an Anomaly.
Cat Lady
Appearance
A girl with black hair and a cropped tee.
Request
To retrieve her missing black cat from your parent's bedroom.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
Before answering the door, search your parents' bedroom. You'll spot a cat directly next to the bed. Remember that the cat lady specifically said her cat was black, so if the cat's white, she's an Anomaly. If the cat is black, she's safe. Answer the door and bring it back to her.
New Neighbour
Appearance
A very tall man in a shirt and tie.
Request
To meet you, as he's your new neighbour.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
Check the cameras. If you turn on night vision and he has his face pressed up against the screen, he's an Anomaly. If he remains normal, he's safe.
Classmate
Appearance
A child with red hair, glasses and a chequered shirt.
Request
To work on homework together.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
If you start to hear the kid's voice flitting between normal and a gravelly demonic voice, he's an Anomaly. If he keeps a consistent tone throughout, he's safe.
Guy Who Needs To Pee
Appearance
A man with a hoodie, clutching his stomach.
Request
To use your bathroom.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
If you look through the cameras and, upon turning on night vision, see that the visitor is taller, he's an Anomaly. Otherwise, he's safe.
Dumped Girl
Appearance
A crying woman in a black jacket and camo pants.
Request
To get tissues to wipe her tears.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
If you turn on the cameras and she's smiling, staring directly at you, she's an Anomaly. Otherwise, she's safe!
Streamer
Appearance
A child wearing a video game shirt, Adidas trackies and very shiny white crocs.
Request
To feature you on his livestream.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
Look in the streamer's hand. If he's holding up an absolutely giant iPhone, he's just your bogstandard IRL streamer. If he has no phone, my guy's an Anomaly. That's minus aura.
Vampire
Appearance
Tall man with pale skin and a flared collar.
Request
To be invited inside.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
I've yet to see a non-Anomalous version of this, so I'll go out on a limb and just say, yeah, don't let the vampire in.
Firefighter
Appearance
Tall man in a firefighter's outfit.
Request
To put out a fire starting in your oven.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
The Firefighter will always approach claiming that there's smoke coming from your oven. Check the oven. If there's smoke billowing out from it, he's authentic. If there's none, he's an Anomaly.
Plumber
Appearance
A man with a moustache in a black shirt, holding a red toolbox.
Request
To fix the faucet.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
The plumber will tell you he's had a request to fix a leaky bath faucet. Check your bath faucet. If it's leaking water, let him inside. Otherwise, he's an Anomaly.
City Maintenance
Appearance
A man in overalls and a hard hat.
Request
To fix the water that's turned brown.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
The City Maintenance worker will tell you the water should be brown by now. Check the sink. If the running water is brown, he's legit. If there's no water at all, he's an Anomaly.
Homeless Man
Appearance
A man with scraggly hair and a long coat.
Request
To give him some food.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
If you check the cameras and notice that the man doesn't show up at all, he's an Anomaly. If he's on the cams, he's clear.
Secret Agent
Appearance
A man in a full suit with sunglasses.
Request
To tell you about the alien threat in the neighbourhood.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
Check the cameras. If you turn on nightvision, and the man turns into a 7ft alien, he's an Anomaly. If he isn't an alien, he's probably sound.
Party Girl
Appearance
A dancing girl with a tank top and baggy jeans.
Request
To invite you to a party.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
If the girl's voice echoes melodically, she's an Anomaly. If she talks normally, she's sound, although still very weird for asking a little kid to come sling shots with her.
Ballerina
Appearance
A blonde girl in a ballerina outfit.
Request
To dance for you.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
If you turn on the camera and see the girl dancing on the doorstep, she's an Anomaly. If she's standing normally, she's safe.
Next Door Neighbour
Appearance
An older woman in a pink shirt, shorts and with no shoes.
Request
To argue about the position of your CCTV camera.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
Coming soon
Dog Owner
Appearance
A man in a black polo shirt.
Request
To get his dog from your backyard.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
Check the backyard camera. If you see a dog sitting there, you're good to let him in. If, instead, the Dog Owner is there, hunched on all fours, barking like a dog... yeah, gonna go out on a limb and say he's an Anomaly.
Wifi Kid
Appearance
A kid in a red hoodie holding a tablet.
Request
To get the wifi password.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
When pulling up the cameras, if you hear the camera noise start glitching, the wifi kid is an Anomaly. To help you out here, the glitch sounds like a camera shutter repeatedly clicking. If you don't hear that noise, the kid's safe.
Lost Girl
Appearance
A little girl with long hair and a grey jacket.
Request
To use your phone.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
If you turn on night vision on the cameras and she's giant, she's an Anomaly. If she looks the same in both camera views, she's clear.
Old Man
Appearance
An old man with grey hair and a suit.
Request
To find his daughter's house.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
Coming soon
Sleepy Woman
Appearance
A girl in a pink jumper and grey sweats.
Request
To lie down in your bed for a few winks.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
When looking at the woman through the cameras, if her head snaps forward when you turn on night vision, she's an Anomaly. If it doesn't change, she's safe.
Drunk Girl
Appearance
A stumbling girl with frizzy hair and a black dress.
Request
To use your phone.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
Coming soon
Obby Player
Appearance
A bald, middle-aged man in a black shirt.
Request
To play Roblox with you.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
If you switch to the camera overlooking the player's mum's car, and see the Obby player smashing it apart with his fist, he's an Anomaly. If the camera view is normal, he is too!
Gym Bro
Appearance
A large, muscular man in a white shirt.
Request
Water for a protein shake.
Evidence he's an Anomaly
If his voice sounds incredibly high-pitched, you have an Anomaly on your hands. If he sounds normal, he's good to go!
Goblin Stalker
Appearance
A small, pale-skinned demon goblin that hides in plain sight.
Request
To jumpscare you.
Evidence she's an Anomaly
Not a visitor, but worth noting is the permanent jumpscaring goblin that'll appear around your house. This is just an Anomaly game staple at this point, and he can't actually harm you. He's just doing it for the love of the game, I guess. Ignore him.
