How to get Fireite in The Forge

Looking for Fireite in The Forge? Trust me, I know the pain of trying to get this damn Ore. Early into my adventure through this blacksmithing Roblox RPG, I got the Line's Needs quest, and this chunk of red-hot molten rock became my Moby Dick.

Like Ishmael, you too will be stalking this chunk of Legendary stone throughout the vast depths of the Forgotten Kingdom mine, but I won't let you fail as he did. You will find this rock and you will bring three slabs of it back to Line. If you're ready to break your bad luck streak and free a chunk of this rare molten beauty, here's how to find Fireite Ore in The Forge.

The actual method of getting Fireite Ore in The Forge looks relatively simple on paper. First, you'll need to get a pickaxe capable of dealing 100 base damage so you can mine the Volcanic Rocks in the Volcanic Depths area of the Forgotten Kingdom mines.

There are only a few pickaxes that have that kind of raw, rock-crushing power:

  • The Lightite Pickaxe: Purchased from the Forgotten Kingdom Pickaxe Shop for $98,500.
  • The Arcane Pickaxe: Purchased from the Stonewake's Cross mine, through a locked gate only accessible by completing the Lost Guitar quest. It costs $125,000.
  • The Magma Pickaxe: Purchased from Amber in the Ashen Depths area of the Forgotten Kingdom mine for $150,000.
  • The Demonic Pickaxe: Purchased from behind the locked door in the Volcanic Depths, which is opened by bringing Skal three Demonite Ore as part of the Demonite Key quest. It costs $500,000.

When you have one of these pickaxes, you technically have all you need. From here, you just need to find a Volcanic Rock in the Volcanic Depths and start whacking away. However, that's not taking into account that Fireite Ore has an eye-watering 1 in 2,187 chance of dropping. So, let's run through how we can make finding it a touch easier...

Increasing the odds of Fireite drops

Now we have all the materials, let's focus on how we can boost the odds of Fireite dropping. After all, we need three to complete the Line's Needs quest, and getting one to spawn is hard enough.

The best method is to stack the perks of luck-based items atop each other. The first and easiest to acquire is a Luck Potion . If you head to the Forgotten Kingdom or Stonewake's Cross potion shops, you'll find Luck Potions being sold for 350 gold. These things are worth the price. Drinking one boosts your luck by 20%, and more luck means higher odds of Fireite spawning. Get yourself 10 if you can afford them and chug all those suckers before a long Volcanic Rock farming session.

The second is to augment your pickaxe with "Miner Shards" at the Runemaker shack. But not just any Miner Shards. You'll want to add ones that have the "Luck" trait, as this boosts your likelihood of finding rare Ores. To craft the luckiest pickaxe possible, I'd recommend getting the Arcane Pickaxe (which has the highest luck stat in the game) and then stacking it with Miner Shards offering Luck traits. That way, even without Luck Potions, you're dealing with better odds.

Finally, there is a way to stack both boosts above with a final big luck item, but it costs real-world money, so it's definitely not mandatory or really recommended. If you head to the shop and scroll to the Totems tab, you'll see one totem called the "Luck Totem." These are single-use items that, once placed, create a green zone in the nearby area for five minutes. Anyone who's inside this zone will have 25% extra luck until the timer runs out.

It's worth noting though, that Volcanic Rocks spawn sporadically all over the place, so picking a perfect zone is tricky, and quite often, players will flock to an active luck zone. You can't blame them. Free luck is free luck, after all. But if they start hogging all the Volcanic Rocks, that can be a waste of your hard-earned cash. My advice is to keep hold of your money and just stick to Luck Potions, the Arcane Pickaxe and some good shards instead.

With that, it's time to get to grinding. It can take a while, but keep at it, and the Fireite Ore shall flow in abundance.
